Sliding-scale fees
We strive to make health care and wellness practices affordable and accessible to everyone. The purpose of a sliding-scale fee structure is to separate the issue of money and health care. It allows you to pay what you can afford to receive the care you need — no questions asked, no verification required. Come for acupuncture treatments or movement classes as often as needed to maintain health. No one will be turned away due to financial reasons.

Financial policies
- There is an additional $10 fee for the initial visit for Community Acupuncture.
- Individual instructors or practitioners may provide their own class passes and prices.
- Active military, veterans, and first responders with financial need can receive community acupuncture and take donation-based movement classes for $10.
- Cash or checks written to Healing Within Acupuncture are accepted. There is a $25 processing fee for all returned checks.
- Online credit card payment is available; however, in the spirit of providing quality care in a financially sustainable environment, we request that you choose cash or check for community acupuncture, when you are able.
- Receipts are available upon request to submit to your Health Spending or Flexible Spending Accounts.
- Community acupuncture is not covered by health insurance. We do not bill health plans or other third-party payers. There are currently no CPT Procedure Codes for community acupuncture treatments.
- Vitamin and herbal supplements are additional and price will include sales tax.
- Cancellations: While we understand health-related cancellations, we may not be able to refund prepaid reservations. If you need to cancel, we ask that you let us know at least 24 hours before the scheduled class or workshop to give us an opportunity to fill your spot and to extend your reservation to a later date, if possible.
e-Gift cards
Available for any of our services or classes, e-Gift Cards are available for purchase HERE. These e-Gift Cards are emailed directly to the recipient and can be redeemed for any of our services or classes.
