Combo Seated/Standing Tai Chi & Qigong | 10:15-11:15 Mondays am CT
Session ends Dec. 13 (no class Nov. 29): The Tai Chi and Qigong exercises covered in this class focus on the upper body including the abdominals. Many participants report increased flexibility and reduced pain in the shoulders and neck. Cued relaxation during the last five minutes of class reduces stress and enhances a sense of well-being. Movements can be done while seated in an armless chair or while standing next to a chair if you are working on balance. It’s easy to combine seated and standing during the class if you wish.
