THIS SATURDAY!

2024 World Tai Chi Day-Stillwater, rain or shine

Saturday, April 27 | 10:15am-noon | Stillwater Public Library

FREE! All are welcome | We’ll have our first-ever Chinese dancing dragon! Stillwater joins thousands of cities around the world in a global Tai Chi practice for unity and world peace. This family-friendly event will be outdoors on the library terrace. No experience necessary. This year, all donations will go to support The Urban Village and their work in supporting the people of Myanmar and the local diaspora. Drop off cash or checks written to The Urban Village at the Stillwater studio. Additionally, we’ll donate $2 of each 2024 WTCD T-shirt sold to The Urban Village, too!

To order a dragon T-shirt, designed by artist and Tai Chi instructor William Ersland, shoot Cathy an email here. Indicate if you’d like a green shirt with white design or a white shirt with green design; Unisex or Ladies style; and your size.

NEW 6-week series

Tai Chi Yang 24 Cane Form with Will Ersland

REGISTER HERE! Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm | May 16-June 27 (no class June 13 ) | The Yang 24 Posture Tai Chi Cane Form is considered to be an Extended Energy Form. Each class will start with the Shaolin 8 Pieces of Brocadas a warm-up exercise. This Cane Form has been modified to synchronize with the movements and rhythms of the Yang 24 Posture Form. Previous Tai Chi experience is helpful but not required. However, taking the entire 6-week series is highly recommended because each class builds on the previous one. This class accepts and includes beginners as well as advanced 24 Posture Cane Form students. In-studio at the Stillwater location; space is limited.
