NEXT SESSION JUNE 13 | Marilyn Calver leads this monthly experience at the Stillwater studio. The supported poses of a one-hour Restorative Yoga practice gently guide your body out of “fight or flight” (sympathetic dominance) mode and into “rest and digest” (parasympathetic nervous system). Marilyn ends the practice with a 30-minute Savasana, or final resting pose. In this state the body is at its peak receptiveness to heal and repair. Aimee Van Ostrand, L.Ac. moves to each participant to place a few needles to treat specific health issues during this optimum rest. REGISRATION OPENING SOON
We continue to be mindful in the studio about keeping everyone healthy. Aimee will be masked as she visits each mat. Mats will remain distanced, so spaces are limited and we encourage early registration. Our studio windows will be open slightly whenever possible and the exhaust fan on for air flow, and masks are optional while walking in and around the studio. All props will be set out for you before class, and they’ll be put away for you after class to avoid crowding the equipment area.
