Amber graduated from the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Roseville in December 2016 with a master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is an NCCAOM Board Certified Practitioner, licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, and has been practicing as a licensed acupuncturist since January 2019. While in school, she volunteered for 5 years at her local community acupuncture clinic in south Minneapolis, and she chose to serve multiple terms of her clinical internship at a free community acupuncture clinic for underprivileged women. During the pandemic of 2020, she found herself volunteering acupuncture services several times a week in her area, servicing the stressed and the unhoused, overworked volunteers, and her newly acquainted neighbors. She is passionate about providing community acupuncture to all people, and empowering her clients to make their own choices around their health through education and accessibility.
