Spring 8-week series | Intro to Tai Chi

REGISTER HERE | Mondays, May 12-June 30, 4:45-5:45pm | Learn the movements of the Yang Style 24-Form step by step with Sherry Strand, RN. Each class builds on the previous one, so taking the full 8-week series is strongly recommended. The Yang Style 24-Form is what we practice outdoors, in-studio and online. This is a beginner’s class, no experience needed — but please check with your doctor before starting any exercise program. (Please note: Our online sign-up doesn’t allow for 15-minute increments, sorry for any confusion.)

Hanna Somatics for stress relief 

REGISTER HERE | Tuesdays, May 6-27, 7-8:45pm with Dr. Holly | Chronic stress takes a toll on your mind and body and can leave you feeling tense, tired, anxious, depressed, and in pain. Learn simple movements to release chronic muscle tension and improve your overall sense of well-being. In this 4-week Hanna Somatics Education Series, you will be guided through a sequence of gentle movements while lying on the floor. These movements are designed to release chronic tension in your shoulders, hips, back, abdomen, sides and to calm your nervous system.

Hanna Somatics is a neuromuscular re-education technique, where you connect your mind and body, and repattern your nervous system and muscles to return to a neutral resting tone. This class is open to teenagers and adults, no experience necessary. The only requirement is to be able to get up and down from the floor. Note: 7:15-9pm on May 13.
